Transition To Work

Transition to Work (TTW) is designed to teach basic employability skills to students with the willingness and ability to learn and participate in the workforce upon graduation. Students will be prepared for entry-level positions in a variety of settings and gain exposure to basic skills in a variety of laboratory environments within Vantage Career Center. Students can expect;
  • Internships with a Job Coach
  • Job Shadowing
  • Career Exploration
  • Build Life Skills

In addition to in-house training, students will participate in community outreach activities and learn how to run a small school-based business to gain life skills in the areas of;
  • customized employment opportunities
  • positive communication
  • customer service
  • manufacturing
  • financial management

  • CPR / First Aid 
  • Serve-Safe - Food Handler
  • Rise-Up: Retail Industry Fundamentals
