Early Childhood Education

Early Childhood Education  introduces students to the duties of caring for children of all ages in learning centers, preschools, before/after school programs, and private homes. In addition to attending to the children's basic needs, they will learn to organize activities that stimulate their physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth. They help the children to explore their interests, develop their talents, build self-esteem, and how to get along with others. ECE students operate the Vantage Preschool. Students successfully completing this program are eligible to receive college credits.
