Adult Education Programs
Employment requirements vary from industry to industry and can be employer specific. Contact with a local employer prior to enrollment is encouraged if incoming students have specific questions regarding their personal background, etc. Please feel free to call the Program Coordinator for more information.
Certified Nursing Assistant
This 80-hour program meets state-mandated training requirements needed to take the Certified Nursing Assistant credentialing exam.
CDL
This is a 200 hour program to prepare students for their class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Emergency Medical Technician
150 hours of course requirements governed by the Ohio Department of Public Safety for certification as a EMT-Basic.
Firefighter 1
160 hour program governed by the Ohio Department of Public Safety Division of Emergency Medical Services.
LPN-RN Transition Program
984 hour program designed for LPNs to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to sit for the state NCLEX for Registered Nurses.
Phlebotomy
This 100 hour certificate program will give students the necessary training and skills to become a Phlebotomist. Successful graduates will be eligible to take the National Healthcare Association (NHA) exam.
Police Academy
Provides training required by the Ohio Peace Officers Training Commission (OPOTC) to pursue a career in law enforcement.
Practical Nursing
This program is governed by the Ohio Board of Nursing. Graduates of the program will receive a certificate of completion and be eligible to take the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a practical nurse.
Welding
Providing students with Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Training.
