The Vantage Career Center has several programs that have been approved by the State Approving Agency of Ohio for the training and education of veterans, dependents and members of the National Guard and Reserves who qualify for VA Educational Benefits. First time applicants can apply by submitting a Veterans On-Line Application (VONAPP). A direct link to VONAPP can be found under LInks and Forms to the right.
Veterans who have previously used their benefits will need to complete the VA 22-1995 Request for a Change of Location or Place of Training form.  This also can be found on the VONAPP site.  When completing the 22-1995 online, print a copy to submit to the financial aid office.
Veterans who intend to use their VA Educational Benefits must submit their Letter of Eligibility obtained from the VA along with a completed Veteran Certification Form (available to the right under Links & Forms) to the Financial Aid Office prior to their start date.  The school will not certify the veteran until both documents have been submitted.  The VA will not disburse funds to either the school or the veteran until certification is completed.
Eligible Programs include: Police Academy, Practical Nursing Program, Medical Assistant, State Tested Nursing Assistant, EMT Basic, and CDL Program.
