Vantage Career Center High School Graduates Scholarship
This scholarship is for Vantage Career Center High School graduates attending an adult education program the following year. Eligible applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0, provide their current high school transcript with their application, enroll in a qualifying adult education program at Vantage for the following school year, and apply by May 1 to be announced at the Senior Awards Ceremony.
Scholarship Qualifying Programs
$1,000 Practical Nursing, Police Academy, CDL
$500 Welding, EMT, Phlebotomy, STNA
Starting with the class of 2018, there are different options for a student's options to get a high school diploma.
COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS (CC+)
Information and Participation Guidelines
1. The student must complete a College Credit Plus LETTER OF INTENT by April 1 of each year he/she wishes to participate.
2. The student must attend a CCP presentation or schedule an appointment with his/her Vantage Career Center Student Services Supervisor.
3. The student must test "college ready" on either the ACT test or the Accuplacer Test.
4. A Parent/Student meeting will be held at Vantage Career Center for all participating CCP students. Students have the option of attending the CCP parent meeting at their associate school, in which case they would not need to attend the one offered at VCC.
