Parents and Students,
We hope that this letter finds you all relaxing and enjoying the summer break. To Kick Off our new school year, orientation has been set for Monday, Aug. 15 and Tuesday, Aug. 16. We will run a short general meeting in the commons with all students before each orientation session. Parents will still be able to pay fees, hand in free & reduced lunch forms, put money on lunch accounts, and pick up uniforms. Below are the dates and times of each individual program meeting (you may come a little early to complete these items):
MONDAY, AUGUST 15
6:00 - 6:45pm Auto Collision, Auto Tech, Carpentry, Construction Equipment, & Industrial Mechanics
7:15 - 8:00pm Ag & Industrial Power, Electricity, Precision Machining, & Welding.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 16
6:00 - 6:45pm Criminal Justice, Early Childhood, Health Technology, Health Information Management, & Interactive Media
7:15 - 8:00pm Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Network Systems, Sports Exercise Therapy & Transition to Work Program
Senior Schedule Pick-Up:
Seniors may pick up their schedules anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15 or Tuesday, August 16. Any other items, like uniforms and supplies, will be available the first day of school for RETURNING STUDENTS.
First Day of School for New Students is Monday, August 22.
Returning students will join us on Tuesday, August 23.
Here are some other details that we believe you should be prepared for:
Over the summer, at the intersection of U.S. 127 and U.S. 224 (North of Vantage), ODOT completed construction of a Roundabout. For those joining us this year who will be traveling through the roundabout, please use all precaution necessary as you become familiar with the new construction, which was completed this summer.
