The first day of school for new students will be Monday, August 24 and returning students Tuesday, August 25. Vantage will follow the Reopening Action Plan 1, allowing face-to-face instruction on campus, five days per week during regular school hours, while following guidelines such as: mask wearing, social distancing, hand washing, health monitoring and other cleaning protocols.

The Vantage Career Center Board of Education met in regular session on Thursday, August 6, 2020 and approved the high school Reopening Plan, as well as the 2020 – 2021 amended school calendar. Specific guidelines for Vantage Career Center’s reopening plan were sent to the Van Wert County Health Department who also approved the plan prior to the Board meeting.

As a reminder, Vantage will hold New Student
Orientation on Monday, August 10 and Tuesday, August 11. To reduce the amount
of individuals in the building, students and one parent should follow the dates
and times of each individual program meeting:
MONDAY, AUGUST 10
5:30 - 6:15pm: Auto Body, Auto Tech, Carpentry, Construction Equipment, & Industrial Mechanics;
7:15 - 8:00pm: Ag & Industrial Power, Electricity, Precision Machining, & Welding.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 11
5:30 - 6:15pm: Early Childhood, Health Technology, Health Information Management, & Network Systems & Interactive Media;
7:15 - 8:00pm: Criminal Justice, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Sports Exercise Science & Transition to Work Program
Returning Vantage students can obtain their class schedules and pay program fees between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10th and Tuesday, August 11th.
Due to regulations, all individuals entering the building must have a facial covering.
