READY TO WORK program provides FUNDS for training!

The Ready to Work program provides job training and funding assistance to eligible individuals who are long-term unemployed, underemployed, veterans or their spouses. In many cases, the full cost of training is covered by the program.

The Ready to Work program provides job training and funding assistance to eligible individuals who are long-term unemployed, underemployed, veterans or their spouses. In many cases, the full cost of training is covered by the program. Participants gain short-term certificates and industry recognized credentials for in-demand careers in Healthcare, Advanced Manufacturing, Information Technology and Environmental Services. Training is available at the OTC at Vantage Career Center and a number of local educational partnerships. In addition, Ready to Work provides assessment, career coaching, support services and job placement assistance to qualified participants. Ready to Work is a WSOS Community Action Commission workforce development program funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor. Applicants must be residents of one of the Northwest Ohio counties served by the grant.
