JUNIOR ACT TEST DATE - THURSDAY, MARCH 1, 2018
ACT Test picture All juniors will take the ACT for free here at school on Thursday, March 1st.  It is important that you be in school for this opportunity. If you are absent, or school is delayed/cancelled because of weather that day, you will make up the test on Tuesday, March 6th.  ACT’s regulations require you to be in your testing room no later than 8:30.  The busses will run on a normal schedule that day. If you can provide your own transportation, you will be allowed to leave school when the testing session is over. You will be required to sign out before leaving.  The cafeteria will be open for lunch that day and you will have the opportunity to eat here if you choose to.  If you are absent your parents must call in just like a normal school day.

Things to bring with you on ACT day:
1.   At least 2 sharpened #2 pencils
2.   An ACT approved calculator (see handout for calculator policy)

Things NOT to bring:
1.   You are NOT allowed access to electronic devices until all testing sessions are complete. This includes cell phones, smart watches, fitbits, ipods, tablets etc. So, DO NOT bring these items into the testing room. If you do bring them with you, you will be asked to turn them off and place them with the test room supervisor until all tests are complete. You also CAN NOT access these devices during any breaks, or else your tests will be thrown out.
2.   You are not allowed to bring food or drink, including water bottles into the testing room. You will be provided a water and snack during your scheduled testing break.
