WestCentralOhioTPLogo.jpg ChildCare Workers care for children of all ages in daycare centers, nursery schools, before and after school programs and private homes. In addition to attending to the children's basic needs, these workers organize activities that stimulate their physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth. They help the children to explore their interests, develop their talents, build self-esteem and how to get along with others.  Early Childhood Education students operate the Vantage Preschool.  Students successfully completing this Tech Prep program are eligible to receive college credits through Rhodes State College.

WHAT WE DO IN THIS PROGRAM:

Create and provide developmentally appropriate preschool materials for children

Operate a state-licensed preschool

Explore careers that deal with the education of young children
