Cosmetologists provide beauty services such as shampooing, cutting, coloring and styling hair as well as manicures, pedicures and specialized nail services to their clients.
Students operate "Avantage" - the Vantage hair salon - two days a week and serve local clients. Upon completion of the program and meeting the requirements of the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology, students are eligible to take the state examination prior to graduation.
Create, cut, style, color and recommend hair designs for clients in the state licensed school hair salon
Use advanced techniques to deliver a wide-range of skin care and nail treatments
Experience a full-service salon environment
