Who Are We and Who Do We Serve?  Vantage Career Center is a career-technical school open to any eleventh and twelfth grade high school student, living within the thirteen member school districts, located in four counties, including Mercer, Putnam, Paulding and Van Wert. The Vantage adult education serves any graduating senior, adult looking to try a new career path or local employers upskilling their employees.
 
What Programs Are Available?  Over 550 high school students are enrolled at Vantage in one of our 18 programs for the 2023-24 school year. Our programs feature nationally recognized curriculum taught by industry experts using advanced technology and equipment. Our adult education programs cater to health, public safety, and manufacturing. More Than A Student - Vantage high school students have the opportunity to become involved in Career Technical Student Organizations based on the program in which they are enrolled. Students participate in regional, state and even national competitions showcasing their skills, knowledge and leadership, where participating employers can see value in.
 
#VANTAGEWILL Throughout the school year, Vantage students and staff members often volunteer, making a profound impact in the community, with events such as the United Way Day of Caring Food Drive, Red Cross Blood Drive, Build Your Future, Toss-A-Toy, Council on Aging, and many more. Use the hashtag #VantageWill to show your vantage pride!
 
Sports - Students are encouraged to continue participation in extracurricular activities at their associate school, including sports, band, and clubs. Over a quarter of the student population at Vantage remains connected to their home schools through extracurriculars. 
 
Graduation - Students are presented with a Certificate of Completion within their designated career technical program at the annual Vantage Senior Awards Ceremony. Graduation, however, takes place at the home school. 
 
Graduates Have Many Options:
  • Enter the workforce immediately upon graduation with skills and certifications gained in a specific career technical program
  • Enter apprenticeship programs with a local employer
  • Enroll in the Vantage Adult Education programs, including CDL Training, Welding, Police Academy, EMT, Firefighter, STNA, Phlebotomy, Practical Nursing, and LPN-RN Transition program
  • Attend a two or four-year college or university
  • Join a branch of the military service 
Scholarships? Scholarships and Grants are awarded to both high school and adult students who are enrolled at Vantage Career Center. Over $591,000.00 dollars was awarded to our 2023-24 seniors, included $3,000.00 to students pursuing Vantage Adult Education programs.
 
Industry-Recognized Credential? High school and adult students earned over 1,300 Industry-recognized credential in the 2022-23 school year, which includes STNA, Phlebotomy, EKG, AWS, FANUC CNC, Class A CDL & ASE just to name a few.

Mission Statement -- Vantage provides authentic, student-focused, career technical training that prepares high school students and adults for employment and further education.

Vision Statement-- By dedicating ourselves to continuous improvement, Vantage Career Center will be a leader in career technical education. Students will be motivated to pursue a quality education that prepares them for the workforce and continued education.
