About Vantage Career Center

Who Are We and Who Do We Serve?  Vantage Career Center is a career-technical school open to any eleventh and twelfth grade high school student, living within the thirteen member school districtslocated in four counties, including Mercer, Putnam, Paulding and Van Wert.  Vantage OTC Adult Education serves any adult or local business looking to advance their skills through training in many programs, such as our License Pracical Nursing, Police Academy, Welding, or CDL Truck Driving, just to name a few. 
What Programs Are Available?  460 high school students are enrolled at Vantage in one of our 17 programs for the 2018-19 school year. Our programs feature nationally recognized curriculum taught by industry experts using advanced technology and equipment. Our OTC Adult Education programs vary upon enrollment. Check out our OTC Adult Education programs TODAY! 
More Than A Student - Vantage high school students have the opportunity to become involved in Career Technical Student Organizations based on the program in which they are enrolled. Students participate in skills events and leadership opportunities through these CTSO's. 
#VANTAGEWILL Throughout the school year, Vantage students and staff members often volunteer, making a profound impact in the community with events such as the United Way Day of Caring Food Drive, Red Cross Blood Drive, Toss-A-Toy, Recycling, and Mani-Pedi Day. Use the hashtag #vantagewill to show your vantage pride!
SPORTS Students are encouraged to continue participation in extracurricular activities at their associate school. Check out our 2018-19 Fall Student Athletes showing their pride.  
Graduation: Students are presented with a career technical certificate in their Career Passport at the annual Vantage Senior Awards Ceremony. Graduation takes place at the home school. 
Graduates Have Many Options:
  • Enter the workforce immediately after graduation with skills learned in a specific career technical program
  • Enter apprenticeship programs with an available employer
  • Enroll in the Vantage Ohio Technical Center programs, including CDL Truck Driver Training, Police Academy, and the LPN program
  • Attend a two or four-year college or university
  • Join a branch of the military service 
Scholarships? $133,855 in scholarship dollars were earned by the graduating class of 2017. Check out the Vantage Scholarship Options List
Industry-Recognized Crediential? 93% of our 2017 high school graduates earned at least one Industry-recognized credential, which includes OSHA/OSHA 10, STNA and AWS just to name a few. Vantage OTC Adult Education students recieve industry credentials while earning their certificate in their field.
