APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS - Interested in becoming an Apprentice? This is a how to guide from the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council. First identify an occupation in which you want to build a career, second identify sponsors of Registered Apprenticeship programs in that occupation. To find registered apprenticeship programs, click on "Finding a Registered Apprenticeship Program". To find a partial list of programs with current openings, click on "Apprenticeship Opportunities".

CAREER RESOURCE LIBRARY - Looking for ideas or assistance about where to go or what to do?  This site links you to other resources you can use to find answers.

OCCUPATIONAL OUTLOOK HANDBOOK - Like the print version, this resource provides comprehensive, current and reliable career information for approximately 250 occupations.  There are also tips on resume writing, interviewing and reading want ads.  Searching with the "A-Z index" is often easier than typing in a search term.  This site is sponsored by the Department of Labor.

QUINTESSENTIAL CAREERS - Here you will find tips on resumes and cover letters, interviewing and an online marketability test.  From the home page, use the "Quick Find" pull down menu for quizzes and tutorials.  This site is maily for job seekers, but career researchers can find help here too.
