Medical Office Management introduces students to performing highly specific work requiring knowledge of technical terminology and procedures. Medical administrative assistants prepare correspondence, transcribe dictation and assist with medical histories, insurance, coding, and billing practices. To be a medical office assistant, you must be detail oriented, have accurate keyboarding skills and good customer service skills.Students in this program are eligible to receive college credit for Medical Terminology. - Build knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, and anatomy
